Question: Can I switch out the reel and use my own baitcaster?
Answer: Jim is right. This is for (at best) still water, drop a worm- type fishing. 
Question: What how far does the line go under water
Answer: Depends how much weight you put on the line. That goes for all fishing. 
Question: Can you switch the handle to either side?
Answer: Yes, you just turn the rod to where you want it before you extend it out all the way. Put the handle on first then rotate the rod to which ever side you want it at. Hope that helps. Happy fishing. 
Question: Is this fir decoration or can i use it for fishing?if so can it hold a decent size panfish
Answer: My boyfriend got a 17 lb bass with it 
Question: Does the fishing pole come with the rod
Answer: yes that is the "pen" looking thing in the photo. 
Question: There is a hole in the back of the reel, is this where I have to put the line through?
Answer: No it just wraps around the spool 
Question: My friends and I go fishing in a fishing hole in a creek down at the woods will it work to catch small bass
Answer: Yes, but bear in mind the outfit is ultralight and will not take much strain. I think it is perfect for bluegill (bream for our delta friends) and smaller fish. Lots of action. Enjoy and good fishing! Note: Work is for people who don't know how to fish. :)
